Pumpkin Puree

Quick and easy to prepare


- 1 pumpkin (hokkaido pumpkin or sugar pumpkin)



1. Cut the pumpkin in half using a sharp knife

2. Remove seeds and pulp as well as stem (top and bottom)

3. Cut pumpkin in quarters and place upside down on baking sheet

4. Bake in the oven at 175°C/350°F (fan oven) until the pumpkin is very soft and can be removed easily from the flesh

5. Allow to cool and remove skin from flesh

6. Collect the pumpkin flesh in a bowl and mash with fork; alternative: put it in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth
